YouTube kids getting ads with YTP

I have had Youtube premium for years. My Youtube Kids starting getting ads. Nothing has changed. Not sure why it's not working.

Hi Joshua90,

Thanks for posting. Could you confirm when did the issue start? There is an issue reported earlier about the YouTube platforms, but this should be resolved by now.

If you are still experiencing the issue, could you please check if this is also happening when watching directly from the phone? Also, please reinstall the YouTube Kids app on Google TV and phone. Clearing the cache and data might also help.

YouTube kids app on Chromecast with Google TV doesn't seem to be logged into my account as it is on my phone or tablet. I have my account logged in the device which is how I assumed it wasn't need on the app but for the past few weeks I've been getting ads when I have YTP.

Thanks for getting back to us. Could you please try to sign out/in your account? Also, please try to reboot your Chromecast device. Resetting Chromecast might also help.

Hi there, I cleared app data on the YouTube kids app and rebooted the Chromecast with Google TV. Let's see if that works before signing out. If I sign out it resets the Chromecast to factory. settings.

I just got an ad right now. Is this an ago issue? Are you sure if remove my account and readd it will do the trick. I really don't want to have to reset to factory if it's not a for sure thing.

Thanks for the update. Are you also getting ads when watching videos from YouTube or does this issue only occurs with the YouTube Kids app? Yes, you can sign out/in your YouTube account so we can isolate the issue. Also, if your Kid's account is logged in on the Chromecast with Google TV, please sign out/in the account.

This only occurs when using the YouTube kids app since there is no login required for the app on Chromecast with Google TV. On our phones and tablets it has us login to the app. There is no option on YouTube kids app via Google TV.
