Chromecast 2nd Gen Optimization Issues

Hi - does anyone know how to get YouTube to stop automatically optimizing videos? I want the video to play on both my computer AND my television.

I have tried right clicking the button on the browser, but it doesn't have the optimization option selected in the first place. This is driving me crazy.
