Ambient mode continues displaying deselected album

I selected two Google Photos albums months ago to display in ambient mode, then more recently de-selected one of the two albums. That album continues to display as if I did not change anything. I have tried selecting a completely different album and de-selecting both previous albums. Same result. Why doesn’t the album selection I make result in any change?

We hope you were able to get the help you need but if you're still having trouble, please reboot your Chromecast device and check this support website article for more info about Ambient mode. Resetting your Chromecast might also help.
