Chromecast is connected but not to my phone

My chromecast is connected to the Wifi (solid white light on chromecast, google display on Tv screen) but its not appearing on my Google Home app and I cant cast to it from any apps.

It has worked before and I havent changed anything so im struggling to detect the issue.. any ideas?

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear about that. Let's sort this out.

Quick question: What mobile phone are you using? Please make sure your phone is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast. Rebooting your Chromecast, Wi-Fi router, and mobile phone might also help.
