      <title>Chromecast 2nd Generation</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am having issues connecting to wifi with my Chromecast. &amp;nbsp;Am casting from iPhone. The Chromecast can see the wifi but won’t connect. &amp;nbsp;I have done all the checks such as restarting router and resetting Chromecast but it just won’t work. It was working before and now it’s not. &amp;nbsp;On the iPhone, when setting up through the app, it says it’s connected but in the TV it says check your internet connection. &amp;nbsp;Any ideas? &amp;nbsp;Is it just a faulty Chromecast or has someone experienced this before? Thank you&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the same problem. And the service had said it connected. When it continue to updating stage a while, it said it lose connected, and tell me to check!?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Has there been any changes on the router settings or network connection? When did the issue start?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Give these steps a try:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;UL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Make sure the&amp;nbsp;Chromecast device is within 15&amp;nbsp;feet of&amp;nbsp;the setup device and the Wi-Fi router.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="https://bit.ly/2MrS2BE" target="_blank"&gt;Reboot&lt;/A&gt; the Chromecast device&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Check router settings. (AP isolation must be disabled and UPnP must be enabled).&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Reboot router again.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Turn on Local network access for the Google Home app. Here's how:&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Privacy&lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Local Network &lt;/STRONG&gt;&amp;gt;&lt;STRONG&gt; Google Home app&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Use mobile hotspot to set up Chromecast (To isolate the issue).&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Do another &lt;A href="https://bit.ly/37recMF" target="_blank"&gt;factory reset&lt;/A&gt;.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/UL&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Let me know how it goes.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;None of these suggestions work nor does doing a factory reset. With so many having the same problems there must be a bigger issue. Apple won’t help so hopefully Google will provide a fix.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
