Chromecast tv issue

Ever since I installed the chromecast with google TV on my Vizio TV, after turning off the TV, it turns back on by itself a few seconds later, I turn it off again, and then it remains off successfully. Sometimes I turns back on by itself more that one time. But then, after several hours being off, the TV won't turn on, I have to unplugged and plug the TV to get it to work. For context: my Vizio TV has Chromecast built in, but after a while I finally decided to get the Chromecast with google TV for better options, and now, this is happening.

I also have a Vizio with Chromecast built in but attached another Chromecast to it. 🙂

Try using a different HDMI input for your Chromecast. If that doesn't work try reprogramming a different TV remote code for the GTV remote. You might also want to check out the Virtual Remote Option and see if that improves your experience.
