Youtube thumbnails on "Google Chromecast with Google TV"

Why youtube thumbnails on “Google Chromecast with Google TV” home App, have black bars on top and bottom and color bars on left and right of the thumbnail?

It looks ugly!

All other Apps thumbnails are ok without any bars.

I'm sorry about the late response, thank you for being patient! I agree that those black bars on the YouTube suggestions are unappealing. Would you be able to submit feedback via Google TV so that the developers know that they don't look very good? That would be the best way to let Google know!
