Cannot cast mobile screen to chromecast

I have a Xiaomi redmi note 10 pro running android 12. I cannot mirror my screen via chromecast using google home app. I can play music, but not cast screen. To fix, I have tried rebooting chromecast + phone, allowing microphone and google play services and clearing all caches. Please advise on fix

I have the same problem!! honestly I wouldn't recommend buying a chrome cast to anyone

Thanks for reaching out. I'm sorry for the trouble this has caused you — let me help you out. When did it start happening? Please try these steps:

Power Saving Mode must be turned off.
Try uninstalling and reinstalling your Google Home app.
Toggle the Microphone permissions on your phone.

On the Android device, tap Settings.
Scroll down and tap Apps> Google Play Services > Permissions.
Look for Microphone and slide the slider on .

Im using mibox 4 and redmi note 10 pro. Casting screen doesnt work. Need quick fix soon!

Sorry for the late response.

Have you tried plugging your Chromecast to a different HDMI or a different TV? Also, could you please try use a different phone to isolate the issue.
