Chromecast without button and no access to previous wifi network

Hi All

I'm hoping you can help. I have an older model Chromecast that I used on another network. It has no reset button and I no longer have access to the other network. How can I reset it or connect it to my new WiFi network?

Hi Woowoo121,

Thanks for reaching out. All Chromecast devices have a reset button. For older Chromecast devices, the reset button is located on the side of the device near the power cable. Please check this support website article to see how you can reset it.

After resetting your device, follow the steps here on how to set it up and connect to your network.
