Chromecast rebooting

I am having 2 issues: my Chromecast is rebooting automatically at midnight every night. Second, if reboot happens during an episode on Globaltv app, I am not able to move forward in show to where left off at reboot

I apologize about the late response on this thread, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that rebooting issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I can imagine this issue is pretty annoying. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

When did this issue start happening?
Do you have any routines set up in Google Home?
Does your TV have a power saving setting that may affect the Chromecast?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
