Chromecast connect to computer with wired connection

I have a PC on ethernet and trying to Cast on Chrome to Chromecast on wifi. The PC cannot find the Chromecast though... it used to work but not sure why it stopped.

This could be caused by so many things, would need more info. First, are you able to see the Chromecast and cast to it from the Google Home app at least? Is your wireless network setup for Client Isolation? Are the devices on the same subnet?

Yes I can cast from google home app

Hey there crazy4golfaz,

In case you haven't already fixed the issue, have you already checked out this article on troubleshooting your Chromecast connection? I would check it out and try the steps and see if that helps out at all, since like scythe944 said, this could be caused by many things.
