Chromecast not casting from W10

Chromecast works from our android mobiles.
Also works from a 12 year old W10 laptop

Has never worked from a 3 year old SSHD W10 laptop
"No devices found"

What step did I miss?

When did this issue start happening?
What version of Google Chrome are you using?
Are you connected to the same 2.4GHz network band?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
