Chromecast turning off

My chromecast is constantly turning off, i bought it yesterday and usb is not plugged in tv, its normally in electric, it still doesnt work and shuts off every 5-10 minutes, does anyone know why?

Are you using the power supply that came with it? Have you tried a different hdmi port? Have you tried a factory reset?

Yeah im using the cable that came with, tried multiple ports and factory reseted 3 times still just tells me that something went wrong after few minutes

Hey there Rabadon,

I apologize about the late response on this thread, were you still experiencing this issue? Just out of curiosity, what color is the LED light on the Chromecast when this happens? Also, are you able to test the Chromecast on another TV to see if the issue persists? Depending on what color the LED light turns, it could point to different issues, and the article I linked should help figure out where to go from there.
