Hi, i have tried getting my chromecast(not quite sure but think its a 1st gen) to play music both by conecting directly thru spotify and by casting my screen but no matter what i do it makes the music glitch. It sounds like a broken record whenever i try, any possible solutions on what can fix this?

I apologize about the late response on this, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that audio issue? If not, I'd be happy to help out, as I can imagine it makes for a terrible listening experience. Let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

When did this issue start happening?
What is the firmware version of your Chromecast?
Does this issue occur only on Spotify, or all apps you try to cast?
Does this issue occur when the Chromecast is plugged into a different TV?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?
