I live at a college dorm and i need a mac address to connect to it. Im currently setting my chrome cast up and I have tried to go to the 3 dots to get to the mac address and i cant access it

Maybe you can set up the device temporary with a mobile hotspot to access the MAC address?

mrgoat102, I agree with Cathal_S. If you experience any issue locating the MAC address during setup, please set up your Chromecast first using a different Wi-Fi network or hotspot. Note: This is applicable to all Chromecast devices, except Chromecast with Google TV.
