Chromecast colors washed out

Casting from any app - android phone and youtube, or PC.. - gives washed out colors. This has suddenly started one day in December. How can I fix it? I have a Samsung TV.

I'm not sure what gen is my dongle. Also, I can find any way to adjust video setting in the Home app. Any suggestions?

Edit: My cast firmware version is 1.56 which release coincides with when the problem started, last December

Edit2: my TV is Samsung LN46b610

Hey there Eugene2022,

I apologize about the late response, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix those colors? If not, I'd be happy to help out, however this issue would reside with Samsung, as Chromecast built-in is an open source software, and we wouldn't have access to look into it. Here is how to get a hold of Samsung support.
