Old Chromecast Audio Dongle Setup Issues

Is it possible to use an old Chromecast Audio with Google Home currently?

Device Utility finds it but then says it can not connect to it. Home finds it and says it needs to activated first.

I can connect to it's WiFi. Is there a way to set it though the Chrome browser? Going to it's address 192.168.255.250 - the connection is refused.

I was able to set it up using a non-Google phone. Odd. Motorola Z3 worked. Pixel 5a didn't.

Thanks for the tip! I've got an old Chromecast Audio and my Pixel 3a also directed me to an unhelpful page. But I was able to install Google Home on a Chrome Book and that set it up just fine
