Chromecast remote gets hot and won't work

Hi,

My chromecast remote stopped working all of a sudden, it gets really hot upon changing batteries and doesn't work. No led indicator, tried resetting the remote. Please help!

Sounds like hardware issue of remote. You can try claiming warranty or use your phone as remote.
