Black screen when streaming, intermittent

While streaming from time to time (2, 3 times per hour) screen goes black for a second, loosing content, speakers make odd sound and then all goes back, it's intermittent as sometimes happen at the beginning of streaming sometimes later on but it's repeated every time I stream. I had gen2 Chromecast on the same tv and network and never happened, phone streaming is also good so I suspect that it's my new Chromecast with Google TV...Any ideas folks?

Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out.

Quick questions: what's the LED light status in your Chromecast with Google TV? Is the Chromecast plugged in correctly to the TV and power source?

Give these steps a try:

Plug in your Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your TV.
Plug it in on a different TV screen (If applicable).
Reboot your Chromecast.
Reboot your TV.
Reboot your router.
Factory reset your Chromecast.
