&lt;P&gt;A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? When did the issue start? Have you checked if the same issue persists when casting from a mobile phone?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Try these steps:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Make sure that the browser&amp;nbsp;you're using is Google Chrome and that it is up-to-date.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Check if other devices can cast successfully (phone, tablet, or another computer)&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Reboot again your &lt;A href="https://bit.ly/2MrS2BE" target="_blank"&gt;Chromecast&lt;/A&gt;, router, TV, and laptop.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Make sure your laptop's operating system is &lt;A href="https://bit.ly/3xX1IaG" target="_blank"&gt;compatible&lt;/A&gt; with the Chromecast.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Check the antivirus of the computer. There are cases (mostly in Windows) wherein the Chromecast device fails to work after the antivirus finished an update. If this happens, call your antivirus provider.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Try to plug in the Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your TV.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Try to plug in the Chromecast into a different TV screen if one is available.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Perform a &lt;A href="https://bit.ly/37recMF" target="_blank"&gt;factory reset&lt;/A&gt; on your Chromecast.&lt;/LI&gt;

      <title>Bad Video and Audio</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;When casting a video from my laptop, videos sometimes look like slow motion which is followed by a decrease in video quality and audio that is very scratchy. This only happens sometimes and can happen from any website. I've rebooted my Chromecast as well as my router but the problem persists. The videos aren't affected on my laptop screen only on my Roku TV (65 inch, 4k), Is there anything I can do to fix this issue?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
