my chromecast remote light is solid

the light on my chromecast remote is sloid. i know it says the mic is on or it is updating. but it has been sitting here for a week. how do i fix it?

Thanks for reaching out. Please try to remove the batteries and put it back in after 5 minutes. Resetting your Chromecast Voice Remote might also help.
