Can't approve installation of app from unknown sources.

I have downloaded the downloaded app onto my chrome cast with Google TV but am unable to authorise install unknown apps. I go through to security and restrictions and to the install unknown apps section and it is listed there along with another app and they are marked disabled. The slider is there to approve it but I cannot access the slider. Why is this happening?

Hi there,

Have you enabled developer mode?

Settings/System/About

Then click on 'Android TV OS build' seven times.
