How do you connect chrome cast to iPad?

I have some problem about my chrome cast. My google home app is finding my chromecast for 5 minutes now and it haven’t find the chromecast. It just say welcome and download the google home app. I turn on Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. In the Wi-Fi network I even connected to the chromecast Wi-Fi network but nothing work. Please help

Thanks for reaching out. Let's sort this out.

A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? Is this an initial set up or working previously? How far is your Chromecast from the Wi-Fi router?

Give these steps a try:

Make sure your phone is connected to the same network as your Chromecast.
Force close and reopen the Google Home app.
Forget and reconnect your phone to your Wi-Fi network.
Reboot your Chromecast.
Reboot your Wi-Fi router.
Reboot your mobile phone.
Use a different mobile phone.
Factory reset your Chromecast.
