Connecting my chromecast

I buy a chromecast to someone and now I try to connected it. But unfortunately it was still connected to the old person’s wifi and now I need to connect the chromecast to his wifi cause I need to be connected to the same wifi!

can I change that?

You’ll need to factory reset the Chromecast, then then set it up sing your Wi-Fi network and password. If you're using Chromecast with Google TV, follow these setup steps instead.
