Chromecast Tv / Classroom

I upgraded my original chromecasts to chromecast tv in my classroom. The problem is that anytime I stop casting it goes to the home screen with all sorts of suggestions that may not be appropriate for young students to see. Is there a way to make it go into ambient mode automatically after casting or do I just need to go back to the old chromecasts?

Hey there bobthebuilder,

Welcome to the Chromecast Community Forum! At this point in time, there isn't a way to make the Chromecast go directly to Ambient Mode after casting. This is a good suggestion, however! If you have the time, would you be willing to submit feedback via Google TV to let Google know you'd be interested in this feature? In the meantime, the older Chromecast models would be better for your current situation.
