Chromecast with google tv

I lost my remote in a fire recently. tried connecting with my iPhone using Google TV app and it wouldn't connect. i reset the chromecast and now can't see the device to pair with on my iPhone using the Google TV app.

What can i do, as its difficult for me to get just the replacement remote

Thanks for reaching out. To confirm, are you re-setting up the Chromecast using your iPhone as a virtual remote? If yes, I'm afraid the setup only relies on the Chromecast Voice Remote. You can check from the Google Store to purchase a Chromecast Voice Remote and use it to set up your Chromecast with Google TV. Check here.

I still do. Google doesn't ship to my country, but yet runs an office in my country

Thanks for getting back to us. May I know what country you are in? Have you tried to check in the Google Store website link I've provided if your country is available on the list? If not, you may try to visit other stores that may sell this.
