editing apps on google tv with chromecast

I have a google tv to which I have added a Chromecast dongle with google tv. I have way more apps than I need and want to trim them down to what I actually want to watch. navigating through this mass of apps I will probably never need is daunting.

What can I do? take out the chromecast dongle? or what?

I'm sorry about the late response, thank you for your patience! Were you able to find an answer to your question? If not, I'd be happy to help out! Check out this article on how to delete apps on Google TV, that way you can cut out any apps you don't plan on using.
