Glitchy screen on chromecast with google tv

This glitch began appearing last night. When I first turn on the tv and the chromecast with google tv the images appear clear and visible. After I move the selection box with the remote the screen begins glitching. Then shortly after the screen looks like the photo. I tried to follow the troubleshooting tips but could not see the settings anymore!

I am assuming this is a fault, but thought I would try here first. I purchased the device in January of this year.

Replying to add that it is not the actual television - the Xbox and free to air etc are all clear to see. The fault is with the chromecast with google tv.

I have the same problem! tried to move the other tv and the problem persisted. Bought this in April 2022. Feeling your frustration here.

Thanks for posting and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Chromecast with Google TV. Please try to reboot your Chromecast and plug it in on a different HDMI port on your TV. Resetting it might also help.
