I installed hdmi to usb drivers since my laptop doesn't have a hdmi-port. I set up a connection, this works fine( message shown on 'your living room'': being played . But I do not see or hear anything.

Hey there Richard,

Per the Chromecast requirements, All Chromecast devices require a TV with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) 1.3 or higher built-in. Unfortunately, the device won't function properly on a laptop. I'm sorry for any problems this causes you, I know it's disappointing if you had a particular setup in mind, but if you had any more questions or concerns, feel free to let us know!
