Picture Quality on Samsung TV

I've got my Chromecast connected to my Samsung TV via an HDMI port. The picture quality is awful. It's really pale and slightly metallicy. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

Welcome to the Chromecast Community Forum! I'm sorry to hear that the quality of your casting is bad, I can imagine that makes for a terrible viewing experience. The main probably would usually be related to internet speed. Would you be able to perform an internet speed test and let me know the results? In the meantime, I would encourage you to check out this article on how to stream 4K Ultra HD content.

RhysArsenal123, hope that helps, but if you're still having an issue with the video quality on your Chromecast, please try the additional steps below:

Reboot your Chromecast.
On the mobile device, close and reopen all cast-supported applications.
Open a different cast-supported app and cast a different video.
Try to use the Chromecast with another TV or High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) display, if possible.
