      <title>Chromecast intermittent connection</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Just got new Chromecast with Google TV today. I am casting my android phone to smart TV and watching movie. Casting work for few min then TV screen freeze, voice still coming fine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have to stop casting and start again after every 5-7 min. I have used Google home casting, tried uninstall Google home then used android default casting. Restarted android phone, Chromecast multiple times. Still same. Any suggestions?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;A few questions: how close are the devices to each other? What mobile phone are you using for casting? Is this only happening in one app or across all apps?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Give these steps a try:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Disconnect from Chromecast, then recast.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;On the casting device, toggle Wi-Fi off and then on.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Close any resource intensive apps that are open.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Check if your mobile device has a power saving setting.&amp;nbsp;If it's enabled, disable it.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Decrease the distance between the TV, casting device (phone, tablet, or computer), and Wi-Fi router.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Make sure that the casting device meets the &lt;A href="https://goo.gle/34VGoma" target="_blank"&gt;minimum system requirements&lt;/A&gt; to support casting.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Make sure that the mobile device OS and Chromecast software are updated.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="https://goo.gle/39thY6w" target="_blank"&gt;Reboot&lt;/A&gt; your Chromecast again.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Reboot your Wi-Fi router.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Perform a &lt;A href="https://goo.gle/2WJrahO" target="_blank"&gt;factory reset&lt;/A&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
