Yep. Same for me. Tried getting a new one did the same thing. Only for Hulu

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue casting content from the Hulu app. Let's sort this out.

A few questions: is the video playing problem-free on the device, when not casting? What type of Chromecast device do you have? What mobile phone are you using for casting and what is its OS version?

Try theses steps:

Uninstall and reinstall the Hulu app.
Reboot your mobile phone.
Use a different mobile device.
Reboot your Chromecast,
Reset your Chromecast.

Note: If the issue is isolated when using the Hulu app, please contact Hulu support for further help.

Hello Jennifer

To answer your questions;

The hulu app works great on a varity of devices that I've attempted to cast

I've been rebooting devices since control/alt/delete was a thing

The problem was, I figured out, no help from any support group was the generation of my HDMI port. It did not support the protocol needed for playing HULU
