My Chromecast with google tv not connecting to Wifi

I I just bought my Google Chrome cast with Google TV built-in. And at the set up process when I try to connect it to the Wi-Fi it will not connect. The Wi-Fi that I am trying to connect to is a school Wi-Fi, Kennesaw State University. This Wi-Fi requires us to sign in after connecting to the Wi-Fi by signing into the schools website page. My phone is already connected and when I try to set up the Chromecast it still doesn’t work

Hey there TravisEspinoza,

I'm sorry to hear that your Chromecast built-in is having some issues connecting to your school's Wi-Fi! Networking issues can be tricky, so I'd be happy to shed some light on what is happening. You mentioned that you need to log in to the Wi-Fi using the school's web-page. This is called a captive portal network, and I am sorry to say that Chromecast devices do not work on this type of network.
