chromecast restarts twice daily

has anyone figured out why the chromecasts around the world are rebooting at 3-4 pm daily yet??? this is getting old. if its a bug in the unit, how about a replacement??

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Chromecast. Let's sort this out.

A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? What's the LED status on your Chromecast? Does the issue occur while watching a video or even when it's in idle mode?

Give these steps a try:

Make sure the Chromecast is plugged in directly into a power outlet and not on a power strip.
Reboot your Chromecast.
Plug in the Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your TV.
Plug it in on a different TV screen if applicable.
Move the device closer to the Wi-Fi router.
Reboot your Wi-Fi router and mobile device..
If the issue occurs while watching a video, please turn off any power or battery saving mode on and Disable and re-enable Automatic date and time and Automatic time zone on your casting device (phone, tablet, or computer/laptop).
Use a different mobile device.
Factory reset your Chromecast.
