I have just got a chrome cast and the imagine has now gone really Dark and bright /white colours are very pixilated. This is on the whole of the chromecast on every app and menu. Anyone know how to have a somewhat decent image?

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue with your Chromecast. Let's sort this out.

A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? Have you tried using the Chromecast on a different TV? If yes, does it show the same behavior?

Give these steps a try:

Reboot the Chromecast.
Check your TV settings and adjust the picture quality.
On the mobile device, close and reopen all cast-supported applications.
Open a different cast-supported app and cast a different video.
Try to plug it in on a different HDMI port on your TV.
Try a different TV, if possible.
