      <title>Chrome cast 1st Gen second hand</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I bought a used Chromecast and I plugged it into my TV, the first thing that pops up is what I’m assuming is the old owner’s wifi network. It says “reconnect me" and lists the old Wi-Fi title and such, there is a 4 digit code on the screen. I went into the Google Home App and it’s not finding the device. Not sure what to do.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Miranda1, how's it going? Still need help? If so, please reboot the Chromecast and manually connect to the Chromecast SSID. Here's how: Go to the phone settings &amp;gt; Open Wi-Fi and connect to the Chromecast SSID (Example:&amp;nbsp;Chromecast1234, Living Room TV, Bedroom TV, etc.) &amp;gt; Go to the Google Home app and try to set it up again.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the issue persists, do a &lt;A href="https://goo.gle/2WJrahO" target="_blank"&gt;factory reset&lt;/A&gt; on the Chromecast.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
