My Chromecast is stuck on screen saver.

My Chromecast is stuck on the screensaver. I rebooted and I remove the batteries from the remote for two minutes and then put them back in and it's still stuck on screensaver. What do I do?

Thanks for reaching out and for doing some steps beforehand — I appreciate it. Try the suggested steps below:

Plug in the Chromecast into a different HDMI port on your TV.
Reboot your Wi-Fi router.
Plug in the Chromecast on a different TV screen, if possible.
Reset your Chromecast.
