Chromecast restarting stream after optimizing

Hi! I love to stream MLB.tv games to my TV from Chromecast. I also love to optimize the stream because it comes in much clearer and it uses a lot less energy from my laptop. However, the Chromecast has started this annoying habit of restarting the MLB.tv stream as soon as it is optimized. Then, when I advance the stream back to live, it is no longer optimized and I enter an endless loop of frustration. Anybody have any ideas? The Chromecast isn't super close to the router but neither is the computer, and my WiFi is pretty fast. I'm using the latest Chrome. Not sure what else to try!

Thanks for reaching out. Is this only happening when using the MLB.TV or across all apps? Please clear the cache and data of the Chrome browser and reboot your computer. Rebooting the Chromecast might also help.
