What Power Rating For USB Cable (Chromecast With Google TV)

I need a longer cable to replace the USB C/A Cable that ships with Chromecast With Google TV. What is the power rating of the cable I need? 3A or 5A? Thanks.

Chromecast with Google TV requires 5 Volt DC, 1.5 amp.

So I should have no problem using a 3 amp cable as long as I also use the original power adapter, correct?
