&lt;P&gt;Sapphirekat, I'm sorry to hear that you're having an audio issue with your Chromecast. Let's sort this out.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;A few questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? Is your TV connected to an external receiver, soundbar, or speakers? Is this only happening in one app or across all apps?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Give these steps a try:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Make sure the TV, sound bar, and/or receiver is not muted.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Check if the no audio issue occurs from all apps or only when casting certain websites.&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;Cast the same Chromecast device on a different TV (if possible).&lt;/LI&gt;
 &lt;LI&gt;&lt;A href="https://goo.gle/2WJrahO" target="_blank"&gt;Factory reset&lt;/A&gt; your Chromecast.&lt;/LI&gt;

      <title>No sound most days.</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Almost every day when I turn on my tv, my chromecast has no sound. I restart it, watch a show, and when I pick a different show, there is no sound again. I have to restart my chromecast again. Sometimes I have to restart it 2 or 3 times a night. I have tried a different hdmi plug and it is the same problem. Is there a way to fix the problem, it’s annoying to restart a device every time I want to watch a show. I have 2 other chromecast, and they don’t have this problem.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I ended up talking to someone from google. And they had me clear the cache. And that seemed to fix it so far.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
