google tv keeps buffering

I am trying to watch a movie but when i try to play it, all it does is buffer. it was working fine earlier today but now no matter what i do, the movie won’t play. i’ve restarted it on my tv i’ve switched the resolution, i unplugged the tv and cast but nothing works. i’m not casting it from my phone so 100% of the stuff i see online doesn’t help at all.

I'm sorry to hear that your Chromecast keeps buffering! I can imagine this is pretty annoying, so I'd be happy to help out, let me just ask you some questions about what's happening:

When did this issue start happening?
Does this happen on a particular app, or all apps?
Is your firmware up-to-date?
How far away is the router from the Chromecast?
Have you tried disconnecting from the Wi-Fi, and reconnecting?
