Chromecast not connecting to nest wifi

Chromecast was working, disappeared off the network, could not cast to it

I tried to add again via pixel 6 but when I try to add to my home nest wifi, it states cannot connect to wifi

I restarted router, restarted phone, factory rest Chromecast, powered everything off few minutes, same issue

Next step was to factory reset Chromecast again, connect to my pixel 6 hotspot , it can connect

Reset everything again, tried with my home nest wifi, still won't connect, nothing is paused amongst wifi devices

Any ideas?

A few questions: are you connecting the Chromecast to your main router or in the Nest WiFi points? How far are your WiFi points with each other? Are you using a modem-router combo with your ISP?

Main router, 5 metres away , ISP is starlink , hardwired cable to nest router

It was working for over a year , it just stopped being available as a device I could cast to

Thanks for the swift reply. Could you please confirm if other devices can connect to your network? Where is your phone connected to? Please try to disconnect your Nest WiFi router from your modem and check if you can connect your Chromecast directly from it.
