Chromecast remote left right up down button unresponsive

I've tried re connecting the remote, changing the batteries, and shaking and tapping the remote with the batteries out. Nothing helps. At least box commands work.

It may be faulty , but first step is a factory reset of the remote. Once you have done that let me know if it worked.

Hi @dwlloyd810 this happens to me quite frequently. Before resetting everything, thus causing you to setup the remote from scratch, try rebooting the CCwGTV. The easiest thing to do would be to pull the power cord from the device, wait a minute, reconnect power and let the CCwGTV reboot. Try that and see if that fixes it.
