Chromecast blinking orange

Brought Chromecast to my sister's house and am trying to set it up except it keeps blinking orange. It's not connected to the wifi yet, I've tried doing a factory reset but it doesn't do anything, just keeps blinking orange. It was working perfectly fine at my house but now the Home app can't detect it and it just keeps blinking orange. What happened to it?!

Is the TV showing a black screen or no signal as well? Try unplugging the Chromecast from the power source, wait about one minute, and then plug it back in. I'd also recommend using a power socket, not USB port on the TV. If that doesn't work:

Unplug the power from the TV
Try plugging the Chromecast into another TV
Factory reset the Chromecast (sounds like you've already tried this)
