4G router problem with Chromecast

I am experiencing problems with my Chromecast connection with my HUAWEI 4G router. Although the router is seen during setup Chromecast says it can’t connect while checking my password. Are 4G routers a no-go as far as Chromecast is concerned?

When did this issue start happening?
Are you using the recommended router settings?
Is your network compatible with Chromecast?
What troubleshooting steps have you already tried?

HI,

I followed the above mentioned instructions a while ago and als read the article about incompatibility issues. None of the measures taken by me have helped so far. So my own conclusion is that my 4G Huawei router is the cause of the problem.
