Hello.

Can I ask for help please with Chromecast 3 ? (PN: GA00439). It was not sold with remote so I thought, it will be controlable with remote in Google Home app as well as it is with Chromecast 4.

But the Chromecast 4 works perfectly but when i try to control Chromecast 3 ,it only allows me to cast screens but the remote option at the botton of the app never pop up?

Hi @mrknedlik,

The Chromecast 3 is a cast-only device. It does not support any remote I am afraid. 🙂

Only the Chromecast with Google TV on it supports a remote.
