I have a Chromcast TV and the firestick is not compatible with it. The lips do not line up with the words. Does anyone know if the Chromcast with Google TV device works with this type of TV? I am hesitant to buy it if I will have the same problem I am already having and just stay with casting from my phone.

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please confirm the brand of your TV? Please be advised that Chromecast with Google TV and Firestick are both casting devices. Also, All Chromecast devices require a TV with High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection (HDCP) 1.3 or higher built-in.

If you're having an issue with the audio and video, please try the steps below:

Stop casting, then try to cast the same content again.
Close and relaunch the app that you're using, then try to cast the same content again.
Try decreasing the distance between TV and router.
Reboot your Chromecast.
Perform a factory reset on your Chromecast.
