That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let’s check this out.

Let's narrow things down first to know what path to take. What Google Home/Nest device do you have? If you have a Chromecast device, could you tell me what generation it is? Are you trying to cast from your iPhone to your TV? What is the exact message on your TV/phone when you're trying to cast? What music/video platform are you trying to cast?

Well, I'm an idiot. I plugged it into my HDMI 2, but neglected to switch the source on my TV. Once I did that everything worked perfectly. Thank you.
