i’m in canada and i have selected english ( united states) and my chromecast+google tv plays my disney+ trailers in french. i do not have an option for english ( canada) my only other english option is english ( united kingdom). bought the item in canada at an actual store. i’ve included a pic of my language options . i have restarted my device many times and it’s still happening. i’m using it on an hdtv the only reason i’m selecting ios is cause i’m posting from an iphone have no idea why they ask that

Really odd that you don't have the English Canada option.. can you try another English besides us.. set it..reboot the Chromecast, and see if it still happens? Also you said Disney plus, does it happen for YouTube or any other service ? If only Disney then it may be an account setting there.

i’ve checked all the setting rebooted it many times the language setting on my disney plus mirror this on the chromecast. it only happens on this device not on the smart phones or on my smart tv’s or on my tablets so i’m not totally sure what is going on

When a title from Disney plus is playing do you have options that you can select to turn off subtitles ? Sorry I don't use Disney plus so navigating in the dark here. When something is playing hit the centre button, menu, subtitles , off ?

thanks i have no subtitles and this only happens from the home page on the chromecast not in the actual app
