Trying to control Sony tv Denon Avr

I connected my chromecast with Google Tv to my 2015 Sony tv in HDMI 1. The tv is connected To Denon Av thru arc hdmi. Tv and Denon are hdmi arc compatible. Ccwgtv remote can control tv and ccwgtv. I get sound but I couldn’t get the remote to control the power, volume or input of Denon. Denon is in a different room. Any suggestions?

I apologize about the late response on this, thank you for being patient! Were you able to fix that control issue? If not, I'd be happy to help you out, since I know these set-ups can be a bit finicky when it comes to the Chromecast Voice Remote. First, I would make sure all devices are up-to-date on their firmware. Then, I would follow the steps listed in this article to get the remote set-up with your receiver. If you run into any errors, try the troubleshooting at the bottom of the article.
